Al's Organic Vegetables

Allan Weilnau and his daughter Kate specialize in exotic and heirloom varieties, but they grow nearly every vegetable that can be grown in the region, and the farm's orchard produces apples, pears, sour cherries, and several berries. Their farming practices are truly sustainable, using only on-farm inputs like hay and wood-stove ashes. They save seeds in order to grow the absolute best, and all food is picked on market day or the day before to ensure it's the ripest and freshest possible.
