This year's
Community Harvest Fest will bring together a wide variety
of some of southwest Michigan's most talented and entertaining
musicians, as well as local farmers and the rest of our community, for
a day of simple fellowship and celebration! Specific performance
times are yet to be determined- check back for more information!
This year's performers:
Andru Bemis - www.GroundVinyl.com : -While Andru's travels and lifestyle earn him frequent comparisons to Carl Sandburg, John Steinbeck and Woody Guthrie, it's his unmistakeable voice, inventive self-taught banjo and guitar styles and exquisitely crafted tunes of travel, love and longing which have brought him rapid success and respect throughout the US and Canada.

Celery City Sod Busters: Featuring Richard Whitfield on fiddle, Marilyn Branch on bass, and members of the Lonesome Moonlight Trio (Jim Cooper and Pete Humphries on mandolin and guitar, respectively), this group is respected amongst midwestern fiddlers and cloggers, contra- and square-dancers alike.
Ryan's Doghouse: Old classic bluegrass and a tad of old gospel in the style of Wayfaring Stranger, Old Home Place, Cold Frosty Morning, and Circle Be Unbroken.
