The Southwest Community Harvest Fest is a celebration of locally produced foods and crafts. You be treated to delicious autumn food offerings including apple cider, bread and watermelon, and you will also be able to participate in activities such as contra dancing and hay rides with music and entertainment. Check out our special guest speakers: Lisa Kivirist and John Ivanko, owners of Inn Serendipity, a sustainable Bed & Breakfast in southern Wisconsin and authors of "Rural Renaissance: Renewing the Quest for the Good Life". Additionally, we'll have workshops and presentations on such topics as biodiesel manufacture, fermentation, organic gardening, and the true cost of food.
