Blue Heron farm is an ongoing experiment in sustainable agriculture growing a wide variety of vegetables and some fruits. We focus on unique and tasty varieties that we market at the Millrace Center Farmers Market in Goshen as well as several fine dining establishments in the Michiana area. We sell vegetables and cut flowers at the Goshen Farmers' Market. Our market garden is ~4 acres. No synthetic fertilizers or pesticides have been used for over 9 yrs. We use cover crops, natural minerals, compost and animal manure to improve the soil. The Little Red Hen Farm- Lori Evesque & family will be selling organic herbs, fresh and dried, seeds (heirloom tomatoes, beans, and others), and other goods.
