Volunteers are a very important part of
our
educational gardening program! If you are interested in volunteering
with our program, please fill out and return our volunteer
application. There are many ways you can help with our
program, including:
Come
lend a hand, meet new
people, eat some good food, and learn about organic gardening at our community volunteer
nights/potlucks.
Join us at our main garden (2119 N Westnedge) every Wednesday evening, May through
September.
A potluck of appetizers, sides, snacks, and desserts begins at 6:00 pm. Please bring food to share and your own tableware. Gardening activities
follow (~6:30 - 8:00). Family, friends, and neighbors are welcome to join us too!
Master Gardener
Opportunities
If you are a Master Gardener working
towards your basic certification or re-certification, you can
count
the time that you volunteer at the Growing Matters Garden as personal
choice
hours.

Gardener
volunteer opportunities, please visit the Kalamazoo County Master
Gardener website.
