Growing Matters Garden Program
Support the Growing Matters Garden's Sponsor-A-Gardener Campaign!
In preparation for the upcoming growing season, we have begun our
annual sponsor-a-gardener campaign. Please consider a donation to help
fund our valuable educational gardening programs for
local youth and the community.
Your tax-deductible contribution provides funding for a student in the garden or a thematic garden bed. We appreciate any contribution that you might be able to make - financial, material, or volunteer time - no matter how small (or big!). Growing Matters Garden Wish List

Garden Equipment:
- Watering cans
- Rubber boots (used or new, sizes appropriate for youth ages 6-16)
- Shovels, hoes, garden rakes, and leaf rakes
- Pruning shears, hand trowels, and hand rakes
Garden Supplies:
- Straw or spoiled hay bales for mulch
- Plant supports (stakes, poles, trellis, tomato cages, twine)
- Black plastic tarps
- Floating row cover
Educational Supplies:
- Popsicle sticks / plant markers
- Seed catalogs / nature magazines
- Wood and paint for making signs
- Digital camera
Infrastructure:
- Picnic table and benches
- Folding tables and chairs
- Shelving and plastic storage boxes (i.e. Rubbermaid with tight lids)

A licensed facility for new & existing food businesses, local-produce processing, and job training.
