The Fair Food Food Fair is a celebration of food, with chefs competing for your vote for the coveted "Golden Ladle Award" for the best appetizer made with local ingredients. The event will also feature Michigan-made beverages (and a few local food surprises!), plus live music, silent auction, and the presentation of the William R. Wood Locavore of the Year Award.

Admission: General Admission: $30 advance/$40 door (Student Admission: $20 advance/$30 door)

Advance ticket sales end at 2 p.m. on Thursday (Nov. 15).

William R. Wood Locavore of the Year Award

Judy Sarkozy, who has filled the hearts, minds and bellies of so many people through the years, will receive the 2012 William R. Wood Locavore of the Year Award. Cheers to Judy!

Golden Ladle Award

The chef who gets the most votes for favorite dish of the night will win the coveted Golden Ladle Award (which has resided at Zazios for the past year). Don't miss the announcement of the winner at 8:40 p.m.!
